What we do?

Our first appointment will entail a nutritional assessment which allows us to develop an understanding of your current clinical and nutritional status as well as your medical history.

You will be given the time to talk freely and at your own pace, and we will work together to design a customised plan.

Future reviews and follow-up appointments will allow us to continue to support you through your recovery journey.

What we do?

Dietetics is the science of how nutrition affects our health and our specialist Registered Dietitians have an important role in Eating Disorder Treatment. The main thing we want you to remember is what we are not: We are not the food police. The dietetic services at ACEDS are dedicated to providing comprehensive support for individuals on their journey to improved nutrition and overall well-being.

Expert Support for Your Eating Journey

As Dietitians we will support you by providing education, guidance, and specialist advice to help explore your relationship with food, as well as optimising your nutritional needs.

Seeing a Registered Dietitian is an opportunity to explore and navigate the complex world of nutrition in a safe and supportive space.

We provide expert support to those with Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder, Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder, and other types of disordered eating and work alongside all members of the multi-disciplinary team.

Nourishing Your Recovery Journey

At ACEDS, we prioritize creating a comfortable environment for your recovery journey. Our dietitians understand that eating habits are deeply personal and avoid using shame, which is not an effective motivator. Instead, we foster an atmosphere of empathy and support, where you can discuss your challenges openly and without fear of judgment.

We focus on educational support and behavioral techniques to help you manage your relationship with food in a healthy, sustainable way. Our goal is to work with you as partners, tailoring our approach to fit your unique needs and supporting you through every step of your recovery. At ACEDS, your well-being is our highest priority.
